  1.  11:1  And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto
  2. them,
  3.  11:2  Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These [are]
  4. the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that [are]
  5. on the earth.
  6.  11:3  Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, [and]
  7. cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
  8.  11:4  Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew
  9. the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: [as] the camel,
  10. because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he [is]
  11. unclean unto you.
  12.  11:5  And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth
  13. not the hoof; he [is] unclean unto you.
  14.  11:6  And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth
  15. not the hoof; he [is] unclean unto you.
  16.  11:7  And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be
  17. clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he [is] unclean to
  18. you.
  19.  11:8  Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall
  20. ye not touch; they [are] unclean to you.
  21.  11:9  These shall ye eat of all that [are] in the waters:
  22. whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and
  23. in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
  24.  11:10  And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and
  25. in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any
  26. living thing which [is] in the waters, they [shall be] an
  27. abomination unto you:
  28.  11:11  They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall
  29. not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in
  30. abomination.
  31.  11:12  Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that
  32. [shall be] an abomination unto you.
  33.  11:13  And these [are they which] ye shall have in abomination
  34. among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they [are] an
  35. abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the osprey,
  36.  11:14  And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
  37.  11:15  Every raven after his kind;
  38.  11:16  And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and
  39. the hawk after his kind,
  40.  11:17  And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great
  41. owl,
  42.  11:18  And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
  43.  11:19  And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the
  44. lapwing, and the bat.
  45.  11:20  All fowls that creep, going upon [all] four, [shall be]
  46. an abomination unto you.
  47.  11:21  Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing
  48. that goeth upon [all] four, which have legs above their feet,
  49. to leap withal upon the earth;
  50.  11:22  [Even] these of them ye may eat; the locust after his
  51. kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after
  52. his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
  53.  11:23  But all [other] flying creeping things, which have four
  54. feet, [shall be] an abomination unto you.
  55.  11:24  And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth
  56. the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.
  57.  11:25  And whosoever beareth [ought] of the carcase of them
  58. shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
  59.  11:26  [The carcases] of every beast which divideth the hoof,
  60. and [is] not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, [are] unclean
  61. unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
  62.  11:27  And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of
  63. beasts that go on [all] four, those [are] unclean unto you:
  64. whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.
  65.  11:28  And he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his
  66. clothes, and be unclean until the even: they [are] unclean unto
  67. you.
  68.  11:29  These also [shall be] unclean unto you among the
  69. creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the
  70. mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
  71.  11:30  And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and
  72. the snail, and the mole.
  73.  11:31  These [are] unclean to you among all that creep:
  74. whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean
  75. until the even.
  76.  11:32  And upon whatsoever [any] of them, when they are dead,
  77. doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether [it be] any vessel of
  78. wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel [it be],
  79. wherein [any] work is done, it must be put into water, and it
  80. shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.
  81.  11:33  And every earthen vessel, whereinto [any] of them
  82. falleth, whatsoever [is] in it shall be unclean; and ye shall
  83. break it.
  84.  11:34  Of all meat which may be eaten, [that] on which [such]
  85. water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk
  86. in every [such] vessel shall be unclean.
  87.  11:35  And every [thing] whereupon [any part] of their carcase
  88. falleth shall be unclean; [whether it be] oven, or ranges for
  89. pots, they shall be broken down: [for] they [are] unclean, and
  90. shall be unclean unto you.
  91.  11:36  Nevertheless a fountain or pit, [wherein there is]
  92. plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their
  93. carcase shall be unclean.
  94.  11:37  And if [any part] of their carcase fall upon any sowing
  95. seed which is to be sown, it [shall be] clean.
  96.  11:38  But if [any] water be put upon the seed, and [any part]
  97. of their carcase fall thereon, it [shall be] unclean unto you.
  98.  11:39  And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that
  99. toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
  100.  11:40  And he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash his
  101. clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth
  102. the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until
  103. the even.
  104.  11:41  And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth
  105. [shall be] an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
  106.  11:42  Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth
  107. upon [all] four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all
  108. creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not
  109. eat; for they [are] an abomination.
  110.  11:43  Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any
  111. creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves
  112. unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.
  113.  11:44  For I [am] the LORD your God: ye shall therefore
  114. sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I [am] holy:
  115. neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping
  116. thing that creepeth upon the earth.
  117.  11:45  For I [am] the LORD that bringeth you up out of the
  118. land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for
  119. I [am] holy.
  120.  11:46  This [is] the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and
  121. of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of
  122. every creature that creepeth upon the earth:
  123.  11:47  To make a difference between the unclean and the clean,
  124. and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may
  125. not be eaten.
  126.
